PANDEMIC TIMES
The COVID-19 pandemic started in Montréal early in 2020 and public health measures ensued in the following months and years. Luckily, walking outside with my camera and a mask was a low-risk activity. Here is a small sample of the many photographs I took during those years in Montreal. They show people in the streets wearing masks or not and keeping a safe distance or not depending on the circumstances of the moment or their comprehension of the sanitory measurer or their beliefs. There were many other aspects of those times that I did not manage to photograph.

At the beginning of 2021, there was another outbreak. With little possibility of indoor social activities, many people decided to go to the park to make all kinds of snow sculptures. The parks were filled with them. I have never seen this before or since!
